New Company Idea for animated movies?
Hey I’m writing a book now with a few of my friends and we plan on launching our company soon. When the book is published we intend on it being an 500 page fantasy novel and we have plans for it to go all the way to 10. Would it be smart movie wise to make it an animated movie that is totally 100% based from the book so we wont have Harry Potter?

What fantasy movies will be directed in the future?

Who is your favorite Harry Potter character?
Mine are Fred and George Weasley. Without them, the Harry Potter series would be just another humorless fantasy novel. I especially liked them in Book 5.

My son recently told me that he is interested in the Chronicles of Narnia. He would like the whole series. After he is finished with those A friend suggested Harry Potter Books. So does anyone know of other fantasy novels? Preferably ones that are in like a series. Thanks in advance for your help
What are some good novels for a shojo anime lover?
I would love recommendations for novels (anime and manga is ~ok, but i’m really looking for a longer read!).
I like a Hot Romance, with just A Little adventure/suspense/fantasy to set the scene. It can be for late ~teens or Adults.
The best example of what I want is Vampire Knight /VKG – Romance, good story, the guys<3 hotttt, suspense/conflict (as the background).
This does not mean limit recommendations to vampire stuff, i don’t mind all that, but what i like is the romance<3 like with an energetic girl and a troubled boy…
I’ve read the popular ones : Harry Potter, Twilight saga, Uglies triligy… I’d like others recommended, plz <33333
Tkx!! <333333
Novels EXACTLY LIKE The Harry Potter And maybe the twilight series?
Alright, both the books were just FANTASTIC! Though I find Harry potter still way better than twilight.
You can’t take your mind off them the times you’re reading them. And you become really depressed after you finish these novels cuz you can’t just have enough!!
Please PLEASE suggest me any novels/stories like these which would make impossible for me to Stop reading!! PLEASE!! Fantasy , Horror, Or even Romance would work but should have something extraordinary in it, not necessarily vampires or werewolves.
I heard, one of the novels like these is Chronicles of Narnia. Though I do feel its kinda kiddish, I found the movie pretty boring. Or maybe I’m wrong so your reviews please.
@ Chargers Fan
Hahahaha I don’t blame you for hating these novels.
Oh yeah true blood, it totally got off my mind.
Definitely trying them next
Though I wouldn’t prefer short stories much.
Will fantasy franchises like Narnia or The Golden Compass be as successful as Harry Potter or LOTR?
For those of you who are fans of the Harry Potter and Lord Of The Rings novels/movies, what have you thought of some of the other recent fantasy film franchises that have come out since?
I’m talking about ones like "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe", "The Golden Compass", "Eragon", and "The Seeker: The Darkness Is Rising"; all of which are based on various series of books rather than single, stand-alone novels.
Were you familiar with the original novels of these franchises before watching the movies? If not, did watching these movies make you want to read the original books?
Are you looking forward to the second Narnia film (Prince Caspian), "Inkheart" or "The Spiderwick Chronicles", all of which are coming out next year?
