If any one can top my list i’ll give you extra points.May the force be with you. Friday the 13th part 2, Hellraiser, Exorcist, evil dead, Nightmare on elm part 1 The shining..The novel to the shining is very dark, disturbing.

I remember back in1994,going to the movies to see this film.I was so excited that I was finally going to see my favorite horror novel come to life on the Big Screen.But after I watched it,I was so upset by how off the book it was.I mean with the scene with the two whores in the film they had it in such a way to make us feel sorry for them,but in the book,this scene was more comical,and even though the whore did sob in the novel her reason had almost entirely left her.And in The vampire Lestat,It was revealed that those two whores had been poisoning seamen and robbing their corpses,which clearly shows that they deserved their fate.And in the Theatre des vampires,in the book,the entire theatre was pitch black so the woman on stage had no way of knowing where she was,also the vampires had surrounded her in a full circle and when Santiago took off her top when she tried to cover up he grabbed her arms and held them at her side so she couldn’t cover up.She had no chance.But in this film she seem downright idiotic.The stage was fully illuminated so that anyone with an idiots i.q could have reckonized it as a theatre.She could have called out to the audience "This is not an act,they’re really trying to kill me"!Also they weren’t surrounding her at all times and sometimes they weren’t even paying attention to her.I wanted to scream at her "get off the stage you bi*ch"!There were even candle holders that had LIT candles in them that she could have used to defend herself.And when armand came and hugged her she tried to run away but he grabbed her hair,which she could have spun around and hit him in the eye and ran off,but she didn’t and therefore I had zero sympathy for her.The acting was melodramatic,and I also hated the choice of actors for the characters,Brad Pitt looked like an ugly woman,And the rest just weren’t right for the part.Who else feels the same way about this?

It was a TV series of short horror stories for kids, they used to run it when I was a kid.
one episode had a boy who came to live with him cousins, and they had this wooden doll that came to life; another was about a boy and a girl stuck in a scary ride, they were very popular back in the day… do you remember the name of the show?

Synopsis:

Beth was a goth girl who always wanted to dismember people’s limbs. She wanted to strike a living animal. One day when she was reading a novel about a spirit the spirit came alive. She would come out at midnight and try to scare her and she would be tormented.

Alright, I’m going to begin writing a horror novel.
I want it to be scary, but I have no idea what to write about.

Something Scary to me could be not Scary to someone else.

This is about a game used to play when I was younger but decided to make it more scary and instead of a male killer like Jason or Micheal Myers I made it a female killer coming back from the dead to get revenge and I want is to sell it to a producer or director the can add more to it if they want if anyone be so kind to help that be so great
Yes I normally can write better then this.I was just getting very frustrated in trying to find someone to help me,plus I been on some antibiotics and pain killers for last few days which has not been very fun.I do know the novel is good from what friends have said.I have scared some of them where they had nightmares for a week. And one guy told me I was a female version of Stephan King but that is up to the producer to decide if he wants this or not. If he finds that it can be something new that they can work with.

If so can you tell what book and movie its from.

What’s the book/movie now?

So I want to read a horror novel but I’m having trouble choosing one. I don’t want to buy it if I’m not going to like it.
I like Stephen King a lot, but it doesn’t have to be by him.
I really enjoyed The Shining and Pet Semetary.
Can anyone suggest any like those?

When i was younger there was this movie about a young boy. and he got like overtaken by Paint in a library and was made into animation, then he went on an adventure with books that had personalities of differant stories, like there was a total fradycat book that was supposed to be a horror novel. And there was a pirate who was the adventure novel and a fary who was fantasy. In the end he has to fight this big dragon thing and then he wakes up and is in reality again. whats the name of it?
